Yuming Fu
Board Member 2022-2024

Yuming Fu is an associate professor in the real estate department of NUS Business School. His research on household housing choice, real estate price dynamics, land market efficiency, labor migration, and urban inequality has been published in various journals, including American Economic Review, Journal of Urban Economics, Journal of Regional Science, Regional Science and Urban Economics, Management Science, Real Estate Economics, and Journal of Real Estate Finance and Economics. He previously served as the research vice dean at the School of Design and Environment, National University of Singapore, where he championed multidisciplinary research to tackle urban challenges. He is a member of NUS Expert Panel for Accountancy, Business, Humanities and Social Sciences. He currently teaches for the Master of Urban Planning and MA in Urban Design to help students think about how urban policies can address the labor market divide and spatial divide created by secular changes in technology and globalization. He served on AREUEA board of directors during 2012-2014 and has been on the editorial board of Real Estate Economics since 2007. He is also a Weimer School and Hoyt Academic Fellow.
