Jorge De la Roca
Board Member 2023-2025

Jorge De la Roca is an Associate Professor at the Sol Price School of Public Policy, University of Southern California. His research interests include urban economics, labor economics, and economic geography. His research has been published in the Review of Economic Studies, the Journal of the European Economic Association, the Journal of Urban Economics, and Regional Science and Urban Economics. He is an Editor at the Journal of Economic Geography and the Research Director at the USC Lusk Center for Real Estate. He also co-leads the LACEA Urban Economics network (LAUrban). Dr. De la Roca earned his doctorate and master’s in Economics at CEMFI in Spain and his bachelor’s degree at Universidad del Pacífico in Peru. Before joining the USC Price School, he was a research fellow at the NYU Furman Center.
