Senior Housing Economist

The Texas Real Estate Research Center at Texas A&M University seeks a Senior Housing Economist to establish a robust, applied research program for housing in the state of Texas. Under supervision of the Research Director, the subject matter expert will oversee and conduct complex studies in real estate housing economics, answer questions relevant to industry and government constituents, and disseminate findings through writings and presentations. The ideal candidate would have a PhD in Real Estate or Finance and twelve or more years of applied research experience in industry, with progressive responsibility delivering actionable research insights.

Salary range: $150,000 - $200,000/annually
Remote work possible. Must reside in Texas. Monthly travel to Center.

NOTE: This is NON-TENURE position. There are no teaching assignments. As an applied researcher, peer reviewed publications do not satisfy the requirements of the position.

The Texas Real Estate Research Center was founded in 1971 by an act of the Texas Legislature.
