Daniel McMillen is a Professor of Economics at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and a visiting fellow at the Lincoln Institute of Land Policy.  He has served as co-editor of Regional Science and Urban Economics since 2007.  After receiving his Ph.D. in economics from Northwestern University in 1987, he has been a member of the economics departments at the University of Oregon, Santa Clara University, Tulane University, and the Chicago and Urbana-Champaign campuses of the University of Illinois.  His publications have appeared in such journals as Regional Science and Urban Economics, the Journal of Urban Economics, Real Estate Economics, the Journal of Business and Economic Statistics, and the Review of Economics and Statistics.
