The Zicklin School of Business at Baruch College – CUNY invites applications for the joint Baruch College – CUNY Graduate Center Ph.D. Program in Business, with a specialization in Finance. We welcome applicants interested in all areas of finance. This flyer highlights one option within the program—pursuing a course of study with a Real Estate focus. The objective of the program is to train candidates for successful employment at research-oriented institutions of the highest quality.

The successful candidate will participate in doctoral seminars in Theoretical Foundation for Real Estate Research and Empirical Methods for Real Estate Research, as well as in core finance courses, including Corporate Finance Theory, Asset Pricing Theory, Empirical Asset Pricing, and more.

The Ph.D. students will pursue supervised reading and research in real estate finance and economics under the direction of Zicklin's highly productive real estate and finance faculty. Upon reaching candidacy, the student will be expected to complete a dissertation on a real estate-related topic.

A combination of rigorous classroom lectures, research seminars, independent studies, and close interactions with faculty members prepares the student for a life-time career of research and teaching in the field of real estate.
