The Department of Insurance, Legal Studies and Real Estate in the Terry College of Business at The University of Georgia invites applications for a full-time tenure-track faculty position in Real Estate at the assistant or associate professor level, with an anticipated employment start date of August 1, 2026. The search is part of the UGA Presidential Hiring Initiative to enhance UGA’s strength as a leader in risk, resiliency, and sustainability.

Candidates must hold a PhD in Real Estate, Economics, or closely related discipline by the noted employment start date. For appointment at the assistant professor rank, candidates must demonstrate the potential for excellent teaching and high-quality research in real estate related areas and possess strong communication skills. For appointment as an associate professor, a research record commensurate with rank and demonstrated excellence in teaching real estate (or related areas) at the graduate and/or undergraduate level also are required. To be eligible for tenure on appointment, candidates must be appointed as an associate professor, have been tenured at a prior institution, and bring a demonstrably national reputation to the institution. Candidates must be approved for tenure upon appointment before hire.
